Die Finanzinstitute sind europäischer geworden, die Aufsicht aber national geblieben - das kann auf Dauer nicht gut gehen," erklärt Lambsdorff zur heutigen Abstimmung im Europaparlament zur Bankenunion. „Gleichzeitig kommt es bei der Ausgestaltung der Bankenunion aber auf wichtige Details an. Die einheitliche Aufsichtsbehörde muss auch für kleine Banken Durchgriffsrechte erhalten - denn in der Krise haben auch kleine Banken große Probleme bereitet. In der täglichen Arbeit sollte sich die Aufsichtsbehörde aber auf die großen und systemrelevanten Banken beschränken. Lambsdorff bestürzt über Attentat auf US-Botschafter in Libyen |
12.09.2012 „Ich bin bestürzt über den Tod des US-amerikanischen Botschafters Chris Stevens in Libyen und drei weiterer Botschaftsangehöriger durch die Attacke gegen das US-Konsulat in Bengasi.
